Join Liberty Township, the Liberty Township Fire Department, and Liberty Center for the 4th Annual Community First Aid Day on Saturday, June 6 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at The Park at Liberty Center. Learn hands-only CPR from first responders and visit community partner booths featuring a variety of health and wellness exoeriences. Enjoy music from a live DJ, interactive games, and maybe even a few surprise guests! Participate in all event offerings for a chance to win a GRAND PRIZE at the end of the event. Must be present to win.

4th of July Parade Applications Now Available

It's that time of year again! Planning is underway for this year's Liberty Township 4th of July Parade, and parade applications for 2026 are now available! Deadline to apply is Friday, June 19 at 5 p.m.


The 4th of July Parade is scheduled for Saturday, July 4 with line-up beginning at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of Lakota East High School and the parade kicking off promptly at

9 a.m. View the parade route. 


As we celebrate America's 250th birthday this year, we want to make the parade bigger, more patriotic, and more fun than ever. Start planning now, gather your crew, and bring your best red, white, and blue creativity! All entries are strongly encouraged to incorporate an America 250 theme.

News from the Liberty Township Fire Department (LTFD)

LTFD Veteran Promoted to Assistant Fire Chief: The Liberty Township Board of Trustees, along with Fire Chief Ethan Klussman, are excited to announce the promotion of Battalion Chief Jason Knollman to Assistant Fire Chief within the Liberty Township Fire Department (LTFD). The promotion comes with the retirement of current Assistant Fire Chief 
Dave Greve at the end of July.


Assistant Chief Knollman is a 26-year veteran of the LTFD and has held an officer position since 2011. Promoted to Lieutenant in 2011, Knollman served as Department Training Officer, conducted evaluations, and mentored personnel. He was later promoted to Battalion Chief in 2018, where his responsibilities within the department continued to grow. Read the complete press release.
