For instance, this ode to Japanese nail clippers, our review of the Squatty Potty and, of course, Rio Viera-Newton’s skin-care Google Doc. Two years ago, our resident beauty obsessive listed out everything she used to keep her face clean, clear, and glowy. Last year, she updated it to include many less-expensive dupes for pricier items. In its newest iteration, the list is a beauty insider’s arsenal of highly effective products from lesser-known brands (and some familiar faces; hi Cosrx) to target hormonal acne and its aftermath. Rio also helpfully breaks down her products into morning and nighttime routines, and — crucially — the average price of the items on her list is $24.
